Da Vinci Resolve

This course is a hands-on, 18-module training pathway designed to take learners from beginner-level familiarity with DaVinci Resolve to confidently completing a full video post-production workflow.

Learners will develop practical skills in project setup, media organization, proxy workflows, rough cuts, precision editing, transitions, titles, keyframes, speed changes, multicam editing, Fusion visual effects, color correction, advanced color grading, Fairlight audio editing and mixing, exporting, quality control, backup, and professional project management.

Each module is built as an interactive learning experience rather than a passive presentation. Learners work through realistic production scenarios, workflow sequencing activities, applied decisions, knowledge checks, and graded assessments. The course concludes with a capstone workflow that brings the major skills together into a complete editing process.

By the end of the course, learners should be able to organize raw footage, construct and refine an edit, create professional titles and motion elements, perform basic visual effects, correct and grade footage, clean and mix audio, manage multi-camera projects, troubleshoot common workflow issues, and deliver a polished final video for real-world use.

No previous DaVinci Resolve experience is required. The course is appropriate for aspiring video editors, content creators, filmmakers, church and ministry media teams, livestream production staff, social media creators, and anyone seeking practical post-production skills using DaVinci Resolve 21.
